What is The Wedding Veil Unveiled about?
In the second installment of the trilogy which takes place a few months after Avery’s (Lacey Chabert), Emma (Autumn Reeser) travels to Italy to teach American art history. While there, she uses her free time to research the provenance of the veil, which leads her to the colorful island town of Burano, famed for its exquisitely handcrafted lace. On her way to the island she encounters Paolo (Paolo Bernardini), a handsome man who offers help but Emma—still processing the end of a long-distance relationship—declines. Her search leads to the oldest shop on the island, where the owner responds exuberantly to the veil. Emma doesn’t understand Italian but thankfully, Paolo shows up and translates. It turns out Paolo’s grandmother is the shop owner. He explains that the veil shares a special connection to his family, who had thought it destroyed. Paolo and Emma decide to work together to unravel the century-old mystery of how the long-lost veil made its way from Italy to a shop in San Francisco. As they spend time together and Paolo helps Emma to let go and embrace the beauty of Italy, they begin to fall for each other. As Emma prepares to return to Chicago, she isn’t sure she can handle another long-distance relationship, but the veil and its legend may have other plans.

Where was The Wedding Veil Unveiled filmed?
The Wedding Veil Unveiled was filmed in Italy, specifically in Venice and St. Mark’s Square and on the island of Burano, just outside of Venice. Burano is famed for its handcrafted lace. Some scenes were also shot in Bulgaria.
What happened in the first The Wedding Veil movie?
The first film introduced us to Avery, Emma, and Tracy (Alison Sweeney) - three college friends who remain in touch at least once a year when they have a girls weekend together to go antiquing - each time in a different city. The three meet up in San Francisco and discover an antique wedding veil in an antique store. The veil has its own mythology tied to it - it is said whoever possesses the veil will find true love. The three friends pitch in and buy the veil and Avery is the first to take ownership of the veil. In no time at all she meets Peter (Kevin McGarry) while in San Francisco but the two learn that they both live in Boston. After some misunderstandings, the two fall in love as they work together on the restoration of a centuries old painting.

Autumn Reeser (Emma)
Autumn Reeser previously starred opposite other Hallmark Channel alums in two series—Valentine with Kristoffer Polaha and Last Resort with Daniel Lissing. Her first Hallmark Channel film was Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade opposite Antonio Cupo, who was also her co-star in A Glenbrooke Christmas. Paolo Bernardini (Paolo)
Paolo Bernardini had his first on-screen role in Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York. That single experience was enough to convince him to pursue acting full time. Lacey Chabert (Avery) Fan favorite Lacey Chabert has starred in over two dozen movies for Hallmark Channel including the popular All of My Heart trilogy and The Crossword Puzzle Mysteries series of films on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Chabert has also done extensive voice acting including voicing characters on Harriet the Spy, Robot Chicken, Transformers and Justice League. Two of her holiday films, The Christmas Waltz and Christmas at Castle Hart received some of the network’s highest holiday viewing numbers.
