Parade spoke to the couple at BravoCon this past weekend and got the two to reveal one of their favorite vacation destinations on the East Coast. When asked about their recent vacation in Long Island’s famed East End, the two practically became the spokespeople of New York’s southernmost region. And for what it’s worth, we spoke to Melissa, 43, and Joe, 43, separately, so the fact that they both chose the same places must mean they’re worth the trip! “Oh my god, I love the Hamptons,” Melissa exclaimed before giving her favorite spots a sweet little shoutout. “Sí Sí is such a great restaurant; it’s on the water–love it there,” she said. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star continued, “We love Gurney’s–they have a great like day vibe.” Ironically enough, Mr. Gorga also had some great things to say about the Montauk-based luxury resort, Gurney’s, and East Hampton’s EHP Resort restaurant said to be inspired by Mediterranean culture and flavors, Sí Sí. “We’re at Gurney’s a lot; I love Gurney’s,” Joe said, quickly following up with “and Sí Sí’s.” Gurney’s, located in Montauk, is a luxury resort that offers private access to beautiful beaches, a renowned spa, multiple on-site restaurants, and an array of amenities to keep guests occupied throughout the seasons–it’s no wonder celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Lady Gaga, Jimmy Fallon, and Cameron Diaz have been spotted here over the years. Joe later added: “Honestly, the Hamptons are the Hamptons, man. It’s fun, it’s great, it’s beautiful, it’s sexy–I love it.” It seems like he’s not the only one who is fond of the East End hamlets, as Melissa also expressed some big feelings about the area. “I’m obsessed with the Hamptons; I’m very nervous that I’m going to swap it out from the Jersey Shore—I’m gonna need both, probably, because I still have a lot of family at the Jersey Shore,” the mother of three concluded.
