It was a slam-dunk night for Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach. The NBA shooting guard was an underdog coming into the finale, but the pair was able to take it home with their strongest night to date.
Who was eliminated on Dancing with the Stars tonight?
JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, a frontrunner throughout the competition, surprisingly finished in second. Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke finished in third. And Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten brought up the rear in fourth place.
Who finished at the top of the leaderboard tonight?
Not surprisingly, JoJo and Jenna had another perfect night. Their Tango/Cha-cha-cha earned high remarks from the judges, and Carrie Ann Inaba told JoJo after their freestyle that she felt safe about the future of ballroom after watching her dance. But they were not the only ones! Iman and Daniella also scored an 80 across the two dances. The Cha Cha/Foxtrot they did had Len Goodman calling them an underdog with some bite. And their freestyle was Julianne Hough’s favorite one across 30 seasons!
Who finished at the bottom of the leaderboard tonight?
For the second week in a row, Cody and Cheryl were at the bottom. They got the lowest score of the night, a 36 with their Cha Cha/Paso fusion. Was Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars tonight?
No! Unfortunately, Derek tested positive for COVID-19 following the live show last Monday, and is still in quarantine. But the Hough family was still represented, as DWTS alumni and previous judge Julianne Hough filled in for her brother as a fourth judge.
