While details are scarce so far, here’s everything we know about Season 2 of BlingEmpire, as well as some ideas for what might unfold when new episodes finally debut.
When is the Bling Empire Season 2 release date?
No release date has been revealed just yet, but fans are guessing that we’ll get Season 2 of Bling Empire sometime in 2022.
How many episodes will Bling Empire have in Season 2?
That hasn’t been announced yet, but Season 1 consisted of eight half-hour episodes.
Will everyone from BlingEmpire’s cast return for Season 2?
In 2021, BlingEmpire executive producer JeffJenkins told OprahMag.com about the show’s stars, “The cast is hilarious, sexy, funny, dramatic, and conniving. All of us would love to continue on this journey with them for as many years as viewers are interested.” And while viewers can’t wait to see more of “HBIC” Anna Shay, her nemesis Christine Chiu, Cherry Chan, Kane Lim, Jaime Xie, Kim Lee, and all the other irresistible characters, there have been some reports that not all of Season 1’s stars will return for Season 2. In August 2021, EW reported that Chan and Jessey Lee won’t be back for Season 2, even though they’d already shot some footage for future episodes. The month before that, TMZ claimed that the couple—who got engaged on the Season 1 finale after Chan popped the question to Lee—that “they’ve decided to move on to focus on their family, business and other endeavors.” Who might replace them? There’s also been reports that former Rich Kids of Beverly Hills cast member Dorothy Wang has been filming for Bling Empire Season 2, while Page Six reported in January 2022 that Chinese millionaire Stephen Hung was spotted filming something in New York City, and that the something in question could be Bling Empire.
Will Kevin and Kelly get together on Season 2 of BlingEmpire?
Here’s some breaking news that we bet will be included next season: Star Kelly Mi Li and boyfriend Andrew Gray announced on March 9 that they’ve once again called it quits on their on-again-off-again romance. The 35-year-old Li and 34-year-old Gray had put their relationship on pause during Season 1, only to reunite on the season finale. On Instagram this week, Li revealed, “Moving forward, Andrew and I plan to continue working on becoming the best versions of ourselves individually.” That means castmate Kevin Kreider, who was vibing with Li big-time during their dance-lesson “date” in Season 1, may have a shot with her! In January 2021, Kreider told Entertainment Tonight he’d “felt a spark” with Li, while she told the outlet, “Kevin and I have such a weird relationship, but we get along at the same time. He’s a very nice guy.”
What else will happen on Season 2 of BlingEmpire?
Cast member Christine Chiu dropped some hints to OprahMag.com, telling them this week, “If you thought I dropped a big bomb in season 1, then you have no idea.” (We actually think she dropped a few big bombs last season, including her infertility struggles and her orphan-sponsorship party favors.) As for what her next bombshells might be, she promised they’d “touch many people” and be “timely in our climate.”
