“We love home. We picked this place out together—that was really one of the first decisions that we made as a couple. And so, she thought, ‘What if we got married here?’” Bones told he magazine. Bones wore a custom suit with bow tie by Alton Lane, while the bride wore a Galia Lahav gown that she found at The Dress Theory Nashville. “It was probably the third dress that I tried on, and I knew it immediately,” Parker told People. “I had five girls with me and three of them started crying! It was the absolute opposite of what I thought that I wanted from the start—completely different.” The couple wrote their own vows and were married by Parker’s childhood music minister, Jeff Elkins. In addition to the bridesmaids—which included Abby Smyers and Bobby Bones Show personality Amy Brown—and Bobby’s groomsmen, the couple’s dogs Stanley and Eller also walked down the aisle attired in bow ties and pearls. The ceremony was attended by several country stars, including Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Chuck Wicks and radio personality Charlamagne Tha God. A tent was erected on the property for dinner and dancing, and the night’s entertainment also included performances by Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay, who performed the Jesse and the Rippers version of The Beach Boys’ “Forever” for the couple’s first dance. Additional entertainment was provided by Gary LeVox and Ronnie Dunn, who performed the Brooks & Dunn classic “Neon Moon.” The romantic evening was capped off with a Sonic Drive-In pop-up sending guests on their way home with everything from onion rings to chicken sliders, but it was a very personal touch because Sonic was among the places the couple frequented while dating. In an interview with Parade shortly after his engagement, Bones admitted he was never a romantic until he met Parker. “I’ve never told anyone I love them at all until her. I’m like the Grinch. I had a deep, dark heart and no one was able to get to it. And then, like at the end of The Grinch where his heart grows in size three times, that’s what happened when I met her.” Bones and Parker met on the set of Dancing with the Stars in season 28. Bones, who had won season 27, was there visiting his friend and season 28 contestant Lauren Alaina, who he had encouraged to participate, while Parker was there as the guest of a friend who works in public relations at ABC. Their relationship was in the early stages when the pandemic hit, but they decided to take the risk and quarantine together, so Parker moved to Nashville to be with Bones. Last October, Bones proposed in the barn on their property. The wedding planner for the event was Josiah Carr, owner of Ninth & Everett.
